The pilgrim and the bishop

The pilgrim's way was almost endless, he himself ragged, saved the soul, but sorev his body. At the holy place which finally he reached, he asked the bishop there kissing his hand, for a mild gift and said:

Oh, that in this pathless time blessing you may incline and praise my pious woe. Against many ailments then I would'nt be alone.

Picture

The art painting shows pious passion, which is permeating woe, hardship and affliction, but by embedding it in structure discreetly is withdrawn. The picture is almost abstract art and fits as an original or as a canvas print in a modern ambience
